They will be closed the 22nd for Asanha Bucha:

The day before Khao Phansa; depends on the moon, which month depends on the Buddhist Lunar calendar - very difficult to nail down too far in advance. The full moon the eighth lunar month, called Asanha (or Asarnha, Asalha, Asalaha)

Commemorates when the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, to five disciples, introducing the middle way, the noble eight-fold path and the four noble truths. Celebrated with candlelight processions.

The 23rd is Khao Phansa:

The beginning of the Buddhist Lent, or "Khao Phansa". Buddhist monks remain within the temple grounds and do not venture out for a period of three months starting from the first day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month (in July) to the fifteenth day of the waxing moon of the eleventh lunar month (in October). In former times, this is done to prevent monks from trampling upon rice paddies when they venture out to receive offerings from the villagers. This period is translated as "Lent" because many lay people choose to be strict about keeping the precepts and even refrain from eating meat.

Most likely they will open on the afternoon of the 24th.

Rather be in Phuket for 2 days with Bars shut than anytime in the cesspit that is Pattaya.
