April 2, 200620 yr Does anyone know where I can buy domestic food warming trays in Pattaya? What I mean is elevated platforms for use on a dining table at home that will keep several dishes warm as people take their time over a meal. I am not thinking in terms of anything flash with elements and so forth, more along the lines of 'candle power' that are simple and I know work well. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
April 2, 200620 yr There is a shop next to Foodland exit driveway side that might be able to supply or there is a hotel supply shop on Pattaya Tai another great shop for that type of table/kitchenware is near opposite Mike's shopping mall
April 2, 200620 yr The big shop behind Second Rd. Big C that has crockery, glassware, pots & pans etc. could be a possability. Edited April 2, 200620 yr by COBBER
April 3, 200620 yr Try the "Kitchen Shop" a couple of hundred yards south of Royal Garden Plaza on the opposite side of second road. Naka.
April 3, 200620 yr Hi Noel, Index on Sukhumvit has a very large range of kitchenware. Might be worth a look. In fact if I pass that way, (which I do most days) I'll pop in and check it out..
April 4, 200620 yr Noel, I checked out Index, and the place next to Foodland. No food warmers, I'm afraid. I think its a Chinese thing. Maybe the chinese section at the back of the Bang Saen market might have something, or in Chon Buri town. The last ones I bought were in a 2nd hand shop in Peterborough!! happy searching.

Not to worry, yesterday morning I did a quick Google and on impulse ordered two of the following from John Lewis in UK; they will be muled over for me in a couple of weeks: Nothing fancy, candle powered and about the size I had in mind: 40cm x 17.5cm Total cost for the pair including delivery £29.95 or c. ฿2,000 Thanks very much to all for the suggestions and info.
