URUQMI, CHINA (BNO NEWS) -- At least 27 people were killed after violent riots broke out in western China, local media reported Wednesday.

The riots broke out early Wednesday morning at around 6 a.m. local time in the township of Shanshan County in Turpan Prefecture, which is located in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

According to the Xinjiang's regional committee of the Communist Party of China, violent mobs attacked the township's police stations with knives, stabbing people and setting a number of police vehicles on fire, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

At least 27 people were confirmed killed, when rioters reportedly killed seventeen, including nine security personnel and eight civilians. Police retaliated, opening fire and killing at least ten rioters, officials told the media outlet. A few others were also reported injured.

Few details were immediately available, but tensions have been rising in the region since the recent influx of Han Chinese people in the last decades, causing frictions with the Uyghurs.

The following is a more detailed and expansive article by the Associated Press, using its Chinese contacts both inside the PRC and globally.

The CCP in Beijing still doesn't dare to designate its military takeover of what it calls the Xin Jiang Special Autonomous Region as a PRC province, or even a Special Administrative Region, as it designates Hong Kong and Macao, respectively. All three are radically different places from the PRChinese Mainland - Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Macao, and add to that the fourth radically different civilization of Tibet, and there are four significant places the Boyz in Beijing occupy but dare not designate as provinces of the PRC for fear of the local reaction of each oppressed and repressed place.

The people of what the Boyz in Beijing call the Xinjiang Special Autonomous Region want nothing to do with the Han in their lands and in control of their own people. Riots are constantly occurring over the decades in Xin Jiang, and the riots will not stop. The Beijing gestapo presence in the Xin Jiang region is heavy, but, as the AP report notes, spread thin due to the size of the region and the extensive rioting that occurs regularly throughout the region. Beijing is hard pressed to suppress the population on the Mainland while also using its gestapo to repress the populations of the two large areas, Tibet and Xin Jiang.

Jin Jiang is Muslim so it has riots. Tibet is Buddhist so it has self-immolations. The population of the Mainland is restive, so even tho the CCP spends $150 billion a year on special repressive internal police forces and massive surveillance, the Boyz in Beijing have their hands full controlling everyone. It can't last forever in such a vast land, same in size to the United States.

The South China Morning Post in Hong Kong has the following update on the riots against the occupying CCP-PRC forces in what is the Xin Jiang Autonomous Region in the westernmost PRC.

The update includes the statement made by Beijing for the first time that the People's Armed Police (PAP) were among the occupying forces attacked by the local resistance fighters. The PAP was founded after the 1989 Tianamen Square Massacre by the army, when army commanders complained to then leader Deng Xiao Peng that the army rank and file bitterly complained about its use in killing other PRChinese. The PAP was organized to do the same kind of dirty work in the PRC that the army was ordered to do in Tianamen Square. The PAP are trained thugs and goons in uniform with weapons to use against whomever they are ordered to slaughter.

Xinhua said an unspecified number of "mobsters" stormed the government office, the police station, the People's Armed Police base and a construction site in Lukqun township, Shanshan county, at around 5.50am on Wednesday. The authorities had not mentioned that a PAP base was also among the targets of attacks until yesterday

Many Uygurs chafe at the central government's restrictions on their culture, language and religion. The Uygurs are the main population group in the PRC occupied region.

Rebellion has become so bad in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of the westernmost CCP-PRC that the tanks are now rolling in. Other military vehicles are arriving too as Beijing now must use open military force to continue its occupation of the region.

Meanwhile, Beijing is blaming Syria, Turkey and the United States for the ever expanding resistance of the Uighur people to CCP-PRC occupation of their ancient homeland. There's nothing wrong with the PRC - all its troubles are the fault of foreign devils coming in and making trouble wink.png ..

If Cameron wants to arm these "rebels" as opposed to those in Syria, I would fully support him, hey I'd even vote for him.

I'm pretty sure CIA is in Jinjiang now because of Turkey as the intermediary. The Turks are in also. So I'd say the Brits can't be far behind wink.png .

The people of Jinjiang speak a Turkic language from the days of the Ottoman Empire. The CCP-PRC is convinced it is the new global empire. In fact, the last and final global empire dissolved when the Soviet Union collapsed of its own dead weight, the same as the CCP-PRC has now begun to experience in its economics, finance, dictatorship..

This is a story we missed so this report brings us more up to date. It also reminds us that the CCP-PRC is a colonial power which occupied the territory of the Uighurs using its armed forces to make the Turkic speaking population submit to the rule of the Han and the CCP in Beijing.

Second Clash Hits Restive Xinjiang In Three Days

http://www.gulf-times.com/china/249/details/357754/second-clash-hits-restive-xinjiang-in-three-days

TURPAN, China: Fresh violence erupted in China's restive Xinjiang on Friday, state media said, two days after 35 died in what the government called a "terrorist attack" and a week before the anniversary of major 2009 clashes.

The incident in Hotan city followed riots on Wednesday that were the deadliest to hit the western desert region, home to 10 million mostly Uighur Muslims, since violence on July 5, 2009, left hundreds dead.

It was unclear if this week's incidents, which occurred more than 1,000 kilometres apart, were connected.

Some in the Uighur community have blamed unrest on economic inequality and religious repression - claims that China rejects, pointing to regional investment and placing the blame instead on "terrorists".

Millions of Han have relocated to the region in recent decades to find work, in a settlement drive that has caused friction in the community.

Similar tensions have arisen in Tibet, which neighbours Xinjiang to the south and is also home to a sizeable Tibetan ethnic group.
