Anyone know where I can buy citric acid in Bangkok? Not the lemon juice but 100% citric acid.

There's a food additives place (or 5) right on the big circle in Chinatown in BKK.

GPS 13 44 30.98, 100 30 50.24 just to get you on the circle- then it's about 100 meters to walk around it and peek in the shops.

I know they have bulk acetic acid in what look like 5 gallon jugs, and I think I recall seeing citric acid in the same shop, too. I recall wondering how sour that could make a bottle of water.

There are other food additive shops scattered through Chinatown, but I'd have a hard time recalling exact location.

I've know the area well but have never seen those shops. I'll check them out, thanks!

I'll check it out on my semi-regular weekend jaunt to Chinatown and if I see anything specific, I'll post back with GPS coords.

Any specific size or quantity you need?

Anything is fine but preferably not a huge batch because it's just for personal use.
