School or Tech college for automotive

I don't think this is the right forum, but I'm not sure where to put this?

I'm looking for information about either schools or technical colleges for teaching automotive mechanic courses?

I have a son who is finishing standard schooling end of this year, beginning of next year and want to be a mechanic.

I don't know if this is the right forum either, but it seems like a pretty good place to start. Hopefully we will have some posters who come along with some information.

Is there a preferred location for the school or is your son free to relocate?

Thanks and yes, hopefully someone has some information or can direct me to a web site etc.

I'm currently based in Bangkok but have a house in Mukdahan which I wll eventually move to.

So Bangkok for the time being or somewhere like Ubon Ratchathani, which has quite good learning facilities.

I'm just about to start teaching an automotive course (in English) in Nakhon Sawan. That would be a long way from Mukdahan but there are other Technical Colleges around. The problem may or may not be your son's level of Thai language which would be essential in a Tech college.

My son is Thai, from my wife's first marrage.

I know there is a trade school / technical college in Udon Thani and a couple around Bangkok.

I trying to find a list of these that have the automotive machanics course.

I'm guessing there must be a list somewhere?

I know this is not TERRIBLY helpful but I know Chonburi Technical College and Rayong Technical College both teach auto repair. I would guess most of the government technical colleges would.
