Hi,

Just went to the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok for the second time and although my documents were in principle acceptable, the lady that looked at them today advised me that I require originals of the documents the company I am working for sent me via email. In addition, the lady today now claims that the medical I got in December is too old and they only accept medicals performed in the last 6 months even though in China they claimed anything up to 1 year is fine.

Does anyone have a link to the medical form that the Chinese authorities require, so I can get a new medical performed at a hospital here?

Has anyone had similar experiences? Seems that each staff member applies different rules as the only thing mentioned when I went two days ago was that I needed the originals of one document plus the reverse side copy in English, which I provided today. I was almost able to convince her what I provided were the originals but the lady today even questioned another set of documents which were actually originals.

Seems like you can never win with the people at the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok.
