Do you really think that the touts are going to guide green tourists to the bus stand.

NO but the information desk at least...........
They will inform people about the airport bus. Problem is nobody ever goes there, they all presume the desks selling the limousine and shared minibus tickets are the information desks.
Therein lies one of the major problems at the airport.

Exactly what is "official" and what is not?

There needs to be a TAT desk well before all of the commercial ones and those need to be better regulated.

AOT needs a dam_n good kick up the proverbial arse.

Agree about AOT for sure..they are the main culprits in all thats wrong with the airport...and seemingly unaccountable in any way...

A paragraph from the other site relating to the non performance of the new bus service ;

He's still unable to advertise the service inside the airport, so arriving tourists seldom know it's available.

He'd like a counter and a large billboard inside the airport building, but the airport director recently told him: ''Airport decision-makers [they're all in Bangkok] have yet to meet about your needs.'':(

Yes, the AOT is the main culprit here, exactly what I have said quite a few times already. Maybe some pressure from ambassadors etc. will lead to a TAT desk when the new airport setup is finished. I will inform my consul to try and put just a little bit of pressure in that direction.
