savannakhet 90 day tourist visa

Featured Replies

hello does anyone know if Savannakhet gives a 90 day tourist visa ?

A tourist visa is only 60 days, but can be extended for 1,900 baht at immigration in Thailand to 90 days.

Yes, Savanakhet will issue a tourist visa, even a double entry tourist visa depending on the number of tourist visas you already have. Apply in the morning of day 1 get back in the afternoon of day 2.

thanks mario2008 it is for my mother she stay now thailand for about 7 years on a non b but we get our visa from savanakhet now for 3 years at first they didnot want to give her non o as she had in all the years before cos we cannot show the bankbook with the big num, bers so non b , we have a company and she is also director went fine but only 90 days due to no workpermit ,now last time they write down on her visa " do ot come here again renew at immigration mukdahan" where they always ask first for a workpermit we do not wish to get a Wp for her she is director she should be only be delegating , so i'll do her the tourist visa + extention and then apply for the non O again

Retell, regarding your mother you say "we do not wish to get a Wp for her she is director she should be only be delegating", but if you wish you can make her an employee of your company with a job title and job description, and get a work permit for her.

If your mother is at least 50 years old, an additional option would be the retirement extension. If you yourself have a work permit and have a one-year employment extension she can, if 50 years old or older, get one-year dependent extensions under clause 2.20 of the Immigration Act without having to meet any financial requirements and doesn't need to be a director of your company.

Incidentally, a director who is delegating, ie assigning work to employees, is probably considered to be working by the Department of Employment and thus would need a work permit.

Is there anywhere else in Laos out with Ventiane that does a 60 day tourist visa?

Is there anywhere else in Laos out with Ventiane that does a 60 day tourist visa?

I think, that are the two places you can visit in Laos, Vientiane and Savannaketh.

Before I go there, I go to Cambodia and let a Visa office make the ways for me for 50.- Dollars including the Visa fee.

Works from any Tourist town in Cambodia.

Maybe more days and maybe only a single Tourist Visa, but much more fun than in Laos! blink.png
