Savannaket Tourist Visa reqs - onward flights?

Hi - I'm a Brit looking to get a double entry tourist visa from Savannaket, using a company named like a famous US casino town.

Many people say that an onward flight is not needed by Immigration if you have a visa, but the visa application info on the Thai consulate website says you need an onward flight to get a tourist visa! It's not a great amount of money either way, but I don't want to waste it.

Has anyone got a double entry visa here recently, and was an onward flight needed to get the visa?

Also are these companies reliable?

I just was there last week for a new double entry visa. I didn't had a onward flight. But i got the visa anyway...The second time now.

The staff from the casino told me, it would be important to write the contact details of a guarantor in Thailand into the form. This was the first time i was asked for that...
