Moving to Bangkok for 6 months, any ideas for nursery, apartment etc

Featured Replies

This topic may have been flogged to death, but we are looking at moving there for around 6 months. We would ideally like to put our son into a decent nursery a couple of times a week during that time ( pref Eng-Thai ). Somewhere that is close to shopping, and a decent idea for a serviced apartment or condo for around 15-20k a month. We'll be selling our car before the move there, so anywhere with most things on your doorstep or near a BTS would be good.

Thanks in advance

There are many many answers needed before anyone can offer you sensible advice. You state that you are moving to Bangkok for 6 months, renting an apartment for only 6 months could be an issue. Also which area of Bangkok will you need to live in for work? That will then determine what Nursery, Apartments etc to recommend.

No-where in particular. Like I said, if anyone knows a decent serviced apartment, that shouldnt be an issue for 6 months. Near a decent nursery and shops etc that would do. I dont work in Bangkok, I work abroad and am moving from another part of Thailand after we just sold our house. Just 6 months in BKK , then relocating back to the UK. So anywhere that comes recommended would be a good place to start looking. .

Cheers
