What has happened with Anonymous sign in? I don't see it in the sign in dialogue box as of today, 15 July, 2013.

Anonymous logins are temporary disabled. We are working with IP.Board support to resolve the issue.

And it has dissappeared again just as mysteriously???? sad.png

We had to disable anonymous login as it is buggy. Will be reinstated as soon we have an update from the software vendor.

Solly solly!

Cheers!

Hello, George.

I found something which caused, for me at least, some of the confusion. If I log out of ThaiVisa, it refreshes the page and shows not signed in. Then if I use the browser (IE 10 desktop on Win 8 Pro 64bit) back button it will reload the page with me showing as signed in. I am not, however, signed in actually. If I try to start a new topic or make a reply I get the "you do not have permission...." warning page. The back button thing does not happen on other forums I visit as far as I can tell.

There is still possibly the problem of not actually being signed out after leaving TV, closing the browser, then reopening the browser and going to ThaiVisa..... I am then actually signed in. I will make a post regarding what I have done in the thread about that problem.

Is Anonymous Signin going to be put back or not?

Not in the very near future. We are expecting a forum software update, but no date announced yet.

Any news on this update?

No news yet, unfortunately. We have to wait for next system upgrade by the vendor, and currently there is no date set.

I will revert as soon as we have a date.

Cheers
