Popular Post bobl
Just how stupid do they think we are? ONE foreigner (the Nigerian) with a significant haul SIX Thais (mostly with ya ba or ya ice) and thrown in to bolster the 'foreigner' figures, four Burmese, with kratom - a "drug" which even the authorities agree should have been removed from the prohibited list years ago, since the only reason it got on the prohibited list in the first place was that it interfered with the highly lucrative Opium trade.

Yes, the drug should be removed from the list. Does not change the fact that Burmese are not Thai, therefor foreigners.

Well, perhaps because of the word foreigner being generally associated with the word 'farang', typically the white Europeans. Oh then 'one nigerian'...hummm. Oh well, Thai authorities should have added that they were happy that no farangs were then part of this haul...
DGIE
Vaboomaronanna , a nigerian. Maybe he diverted to another way of earnings when he could no longer find victims in email scam. The transfering of millions of dollar to anybodies' bank account.

Roel
Would not like to see bai kratom removed from the list. Have had several staff members using it resulting in extremely odd and very aggressive behaviour. But then it is of course possible that people react very differently. The same as with alcohol. Just1Voice
Two weeks of concerted effort and this is all they have to show for it ????? Yeah, and they probably only got this because some unhappy customer got mad and tipped off the BiB.

lostmebike
Two weeks of concerted effort and this is all they have to show for it ????? Amazing what you can do in 2 weeks! A Nigerian and a handful of locals amounts to a big success??? Really happy that ice <deleted> is off the streets though but the question has to be asked, were they just busted cos their brown envelope wasn't big enough or cos they weren't 'contributing' to the local, fat BIB? The headline's completely inaccurate, should read 'Asians caught in ...'

Yes, especially on this forum, since this is an almost exclusively farang forum, not a foreigner forum. So in the TV world foreigner' and farang' are interchangeable, but in the real world they are not.
