Men have been looking at girls in short skirts since we were boys....it's in the male DNA. All the way back to high school trying to get a peek when a girl crossed her legs or whatever.....or a peek down the front of a blouse when a girl bends over near your face? Go to any mall and watch the guys on an escalator check out the gals above them in short skirts. If I ever get to the point that I don't enjoy looking at whatever is openly and freely displayed then I will really be worried.

I really don't think it is strange behavior to NOTICE the sexy short skirts and to look....it only gets WEIRD when you try and somehow pull out a camera and try to get a video or a picture.

Some say that girls don't dress for men to look but for other girls to notice what they are wearing. Not sure about that but any girl who walks around in short skirts and thinks that the guys won't notice or look might want to rethink her wardrobe.

and NO I am not making excuses for the guy taking pics....that crosses the line of acceptable "looking".

We are an advanced species.

Man will always try just to have a sneaky look at whats available under the skirt.

Where as most other male animals on the planet would just stick their nose in it and sniff....

Which would they prefer?

Steve Jobs and Samsung have created a marvelous invention that has doublesided consequences.... clap2.gif.pagespeed.ce.z5euFoXm0J.gif alt=clap2.gif width=31 height=25> clap2.gif.pagespeed.ce.z5euFoXm0J.gif alt=clap2.gif width=31 height=25> You saw that coming, didn't you???

Some people aren't even grateful for those wonderful appliances that can be operated by only one hand.

You can use the other hand for something else to grab on "downlow" if you know what I mean

why do they wear short skirts in the first place if they don't want to attract male attention - I can see no other reason for the attire? - Too attract males? Too look Sexy?

Not saying that it justify's his action.....however why wear them? smile.png

Lets be honest....on the escalator in Paragon or central world....don't tell me you haven't had a sly look?? wink.png

(Standby for Thai Visa sexist brigade attack)

Is it reasonable to try to minimize the perversion of this sicko pervert by

questioning the right of young ladies to wear short skirts or short shorts?

One of the naturally beautiful aspects of Thailand (outside the sex tourist

areas) is the open, carefree style of so many young ladies you see here.

The same is true to some extent in Tokyo, other Asian cities and even in

European cities.

Is this not a distinct and wholesome part of modern society? That young

ladies are able to express their youthful beauty without fear of molestation?

I don't think someone taking photos of a girls shorts actually counts as molestation, do you?

But if you are some sort of extremist that does count a photo as molestation, what about guys looking at girls in shorts, almost rape, eh!

Modern man is very fortunate, I think.

In many primitive societies, especially in warm climates, women went around topless. Even today,

in such primitive societies in various parts of Africa and South America women go topless.

With nudity so commonplace, men become accustomed to it and seem to lose all interest.

I think that would be a very boring life, compared to the gorgeous scenery here in Thailand.

Taking a photo of a girls shorts might not be a molestation.

Taking pictures UNDER her skirt absolutely is.

There is nothing extremist about thinking that it is.

Imagine your daughter or wife...and imagine a guy trying to take some pics of their private parts on an escalator...still funny to you?!

As long as they were wearing their denim shorts, how or why would it be a problem.

Different in the west were women wear a lot less.

Are you being stupid on purpose?

So...it IS a molestation, when the women does not were shorts under her skirt...but it is not, as long as she does?

What kind of bizarre logic is that?

The logic of a troll?

Does it really matter whether they have shorts on or not. The guy was filming under the women's skirts without their knowledge for his sexual gratification. He may not have touched the women but he certainly made them feel as if they were being violated. He is a sexual predator and should be treated as such by the legal system.

Surely you are not serious. A photo could certainly be molestation.

In any modern society today, if a young lady in shorts is a stranger to you and you take photos of her without

her consent, at best you would surely be crossing the line of acceptability. At worst, it could be seen as gross

invasion of privacy or even molestation.

Did you know it's against the law to leave home in Thailand without wearing underwear.

He may have been just doing his civic duty to expose criminal action.

(I love the moral outrage from guys that come from their own countries to pay for sex with women half their age.)

Okay, I got it.

When the pervert is arrested for taking up-skirt photos, his defense would be, "But your honor, I couldn't see anything because she was wearing denim shorts."

Honestly, I kind of doubt if that defense would work anywhere.

I'm sorry, but are you saying that because I have different point of view from you, that I feel this man's actions were criminal and feel he deserves to be prosecuted for them, that means I pay for sex with women? How do you make that leap of logic?

I find many of the 'hang em high' brigade to be generally morally corrupt (if not clinically insane).

The comment was not particularly aimed at you.

But c'mon, this was a trivial event/crime, worthy of a small fine at the most.

I'm not of the hang 'em high brigade, but the women who this man filmed were violated by his actions and he should be prosecuted and take the consequences of his actions, according to the law. I think we disagree on the seriousness of his actions and will not be able to agree on how he should be treated. However if any of the families of the women he filmed get hold of him I think he would be treated fairly harshly. Better the law treat his crime with the seriousness it deserves.

How many here look at Internet porn? I'd guess 95 percent. The other 5 are liars.

What's the difference in what that fella did. Not saying its right mind.

Let's see...

Women and men in Internet porn are consenting participants.

1) They are paid for it (or volunteer).

2) They sign release forms.

3) They are not trying to go about their daily lives and have their privacy invaded in an ugly way.

* There may he exceptions to this but I'd wager the vast majority of the porn most people view meets these criteria and that when they don't viewers are generally unaware and are not knowingly complicit in the violation.

You think this is the same as viewing porn on the Internet. You imply that it may be unethical. Ergo you think viewing porn may be unethical as well...so what you are saying is that this guy and porn viewers are equally fugged up?

I would put internet porn viewers as 'much worse' on the 'fugged up' scale of things.

And did you know, that it is a molestation, to take pictures of women (upskirt) without their knowledge and consent?

And did you know, that people, who "accuse" other people of being or doing something. often just reflect their own immoral thoughts or doings on others?

If he did his duty, to report on criminal action, why was he arrested by the police?

I don't know what he thought he was doin, but I know what you are doing:

You are a troll and please refrain from answering to my posts.

I don't need to waste anymore time with an individual (and I use this word in loosest of all possible ways) like you.

Trivial?

There is nothing trivial about a sexual predator.

I'd venture to say if you made a habit of filming up ladies' skirts, the best you could hope for

in most major cities of the world would be the risk of arrest.

But, hopefully, the girl's bf or some other guy nearby would throttle your dumbaxx on the spot.

Then you would have a better understanding of how trivial it is not.

If you did it to my gf, I'd make sure you understood.
