.. both are great ... but there are a lot of free calls u can have with Voipdiscount... cheers Trent.

I looked for it today and the server was down.

Not a very auspicious start.

Might want to give this one a try.We have been using it for a couple of months now (Skype also)from UK and no problems...

Anyone out there to share his/her experience with Skype/VOIPDiscount Thailand to Europe?

On MOBILE/CELL Phone NOT landlines!

I found it impossible to call Europe with Skype for quite some time. US better but not good. With Voipdiscount I found the call quality much better both to US and Europe. Their payment system sucks, particularly from Thailand, very difficult to find a way to pay for Voipdiscount but once that hurdle is over the calling is easy and good.

I mostly use Skype (both laptop and iPhone) - real good call quality to Thailand - not so bad call quality from Thailand.

voipdiscount clarity is exceptional compared to skype, even clearer than the person sitting next to you at times, kind of spooky, yes the payment bit is a pain, but i got mine before they changed and fills from web CC fine each time.

The sms feature is handy too.
