marriage visa and house registration

Featured Replies

We have just moved to Ubon Ratchathani, but we own a house in Phuket and my wife's house registration/ID card show the Phuket address. Do we need to use immigration office in Phuket? or can we use an office in Ubon Ratchathani?

Sorry, I forgot to add that I have a multiple-entry O family visa obtained at Savannakhet. And would plan to turn up at Ubon Immigration with 400,000 in bank account and appropriate paperwork.

You need to extend where you live but if wife is listed somewhere else it can be an issue so be sure to have proof of rent or ownership at new location.

What type of proof do we need? Would a rental agreement suffice?

I think there is some kind of document that immigration can issue to state your legal residence?

We have yet to get an official address on our newly built house, but use my wife's cousin's house as our mailing address.

Normally a rental agreement will be fine.

But if it is the first extension they will want to interview witnesses that you actually live their and/or visit your house.

Have the misses talk with immigration, so they understand the siutation.
