Phuket Immigration people are generally very amenable. At the main station in Saipan Hin they are always laughing and commenting back and forth in good humor. Have been here 11 years with never a hassle or a problem. Back 10 year or so there were some hints of tea money would be nice but that's long ago and never hear of it now.
