Just a few hours ago a YouTube video started circulating purporting to be from AlQuaeda. In the video a terror squad is holding up a photo of Thaksin and they were saying that "blah blah blah killed our brothers in the South blah blah blah Mr. T you are next on our list blah blah blah". You get the idea.

The scary fact is that here we are b•tching and bikering that the justice system in Thailand is a joke and that the government is corrupt to the core. When a terrorist organisation steps in and "offers" to grant the wishes of a HECK of a lot of disgruntled people -- a wish that no person under the law can ever grant -- what happens?

If the video is real, this can have some serious moral ramifications. Terrorists have used the instability of governments for leverage in the past. But in Thailand? It kind of hits home really hard. The Thai government has already done its best to block the video (not before a few thousand people were able to download and share it though). But that thing is getting out.

If it is fake (which one hopes it is) then the idiots behind such a prank are not going to get off easily.

But terrorist organisations doing the job "for the people" ... that's a scary proposition and an equally frightening tactic for support.

I used to think that one day people can 'elect' to have someone put to justice by posting a name on the internet and having netizens support a vote. Looks like the terrorists are getting there before the governments do.

Or perhaps this was what SOPA was meant to do before things got totally out of control for governments? Imagine if governments could just arrest its own people in order to protect its own corrupt politicians?

Geez what is the world coming to?

Al-Qaeda' Video Threatening Thaksin's Life Dismissed As Fake

(27 July) Top intelligence official said the video of 3 men claiming to be Al-Qaeda operatives and placing bounty on former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is definitely fake.

Terrorists usually publish in arrears....

The pointing finger of the middle terrorist is clearly edited into the picture.

It's oversized and seems not to be attached to his hand.

On a closer look it even looks more like a miniature penis than a finger, but that's no issue since it points to the picture of a dick.

The people that came up with this video are seriously screwed up. Aside from causing panic, perverting legitimate criticism of the former PM, and intentionally spreading false information, terror groups should not be used as a tool for furthering personal political agendas.

Do you think that any Muslim i this world has enough brain to still remember Taksin scumbag ?
