Looking for good contractor for mosquito screen

Featured Replies

I just moved to a new condo recently, and I wanna install a mosquito screen in my balcony and looking for a good and reasonable price contractor, could anyone give me some idea?

To avoid a possible Hat Yai to Maesai commute for said contractor, where exactly are you?

Be prepared for handprints all over your walls, damage caused by their tools/ladders as they enter your place and dust everywhere yet no dust sheets put down. They will of course take off their shoes???? go figure!

If you can find "any" good contractor for anything it will be a miracle and even then the next time they are used can be completely different.

Sorry it might not be what you want to hear but beware of the truth.

I know several (owner of 40+ rooms) wouldn't recommend a single one of them.

There are shops who just do windows and screens ...I don't have any to tell you about but you don't say where you are located. If it was me, I can just drive out to the main road where I live, and there are several of them along the road. You can see shops who do gates and metal work, they often do windows and screens too I think. It should be fairly common and easy to find, maybe ask some neighbors??

make sure the frames are primed first and not just dipped in paint.

My complete house is screened in and mosquito proofed, As we live in the country (55) kilometers from Nakhon Sawan, we simply went into near by village town and found a shop that made windows and doors and they came out to look at what we needed and gave us a price. they did great work and at a reasonable price. Just last week they put in a sliding glass door, with screens attached.

As the screen material is either aluminium color or pre-painted brown colored there is no problem with the painting of the screens frame, the biggest problem I had was teaching all to closed the screen-doors at all times.

OP with a really great and informative topic asking for contractors to "mosquito screen" his balcony... nobody even knows <deleted> that even means, He has windows that just open into the air without any screen? sliding glass doors? The screen frames exist but are ripped? And to top it off he does not even tell you where he is located. And here is the kicker, if I call him a four letter word, I am the one who gets in trouble!
