August 2, 201312 yr I know over the years there has been many English speaking Radio stations but is there any on air at the moment?
August 3, 201312 yr If by "English speaking radio" you mean Western popular music, FM 107.0 and 102.5 fit the bill (as does 88.0 previously mentioned). FM 107 has the news in English on the hour (from VOA, BBC amongst others).
August 3, 201312 yr Don't know if it is of any interest, but you can pick up a wide variety of radio stations including English, via the internet.
August 4, 201312 yr In Bangkok I listen to Met 107. I like the news and the music is OK. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
August 4, 201312 yr Author I know I can get on the internet but I am looking for English speaking/non Thai music and English speaking news that I can listen to on my radio, in the car, in the home without having to use internet. Thank you for the ones who have posted what is available. I know in Pattaya they have 2-3 stations that do this, as does Phuket and Babgkok before.
August 6, 201312 yr Author Lemel, you haven't said where you live. It makes a big difference. I live in pattaya but travel to Bangkok for 3 days a week, so would like to listen to music, news etc in English.
August 14, 201312 yr I like listening to Bangkok's radio 105.5 Eazy FM. It's for international hit music. They have occasional news in Thai but the songs are all in English.
August 17, 201312 yr bangkokrocks ? did u own that club at Thonglor ? been there a few times and saw some live-GIGs....... if anybody really wanna hear (and see !) English and international Rrrrock music live, better head for the SONICBANG festival at Mueang Thong Thani next weekend.: six stages, headliners are the likes of PLACEBO, ASH and PITBULL, with local heroes such as SLOT MACHINE playing as well.... but boy, the tickets are expensive. organized by SINGHA brewery.
