I actually drove one of these ( on a straight Road). They look like a lawnmower engine, connected to a cart and are (steered) by 2 long sticks. Does anyone know the name of it please ?

All round general purpose farm tractor. Can be used for ploughing, towing, transportation, generator, water pump and whatever else the farmers can think of.

Believe it is kwai lek (ควายเหล็ก) (iron buffalo) edit - which is a tractor for plowing fields

Thanks guys. I have the answer i needed.

I got stuck behind one of these in a Lao traffic jam once.

Most small farmers use these tractors... Some use as main mode of transportation . Can transform motor to use as water pump and other things, very useful !
