Anyone has experiences in shipping heavy items abroad?

I need to ship heavy items very frequently from time to time.

Need the most economical way of sending.

I am looking on sea freight or maybe setting up a account with an air cargo company for special rates. Does it exist here?

Whats the rough price for say a 100kg parcel to America ?

Thanks

100 kg is not heavy -->Airfreight

You can contact cargo partner they have a very active nice European here, if interested I can give you his email.

Thanks H90. Yes i need his contact.

100kg is just an example weight. Might need to ship up to 200-300 kg per package.

Whats the rough cost for 100kg air freight to US, any idea or guess h90 ?

Also any contacts for sea ?

Thanks again.

Decent ball-park for airfreight BKK to LAX over 100Kg and under a ton is about $1 a pound.

LTL sea freight is much cheaper, and is based on volume rather than weight. About $50 m^3. Sea freight of course takes a lot longer and can get pretty rough, so crating needs to be much better.

Pricing does not include taxes, fees, pick-up or local delivery.

Go to the FedEx website and price it out, then use that as a guide and shop around. You will need a packing list and invoice.
