I worked at a place. The manager was corrupt and incompetent. I criticized him and got fired. After I left, I wrote a nasty letter to the president of the company and copied a governmental organization complaining about this guy, trying to get him fired. If I did manage to get him fired, I'm sure he will remember me for a long time. Your enemies do remember you. But don't go out of your way to make enemies just to be remembered.
