Getting Engraved Pet Tag in CM?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Does anyone know of a place in Chiang Mai where to get an engraved dog collar?

If not Chiang Mai, maybe order one from Bangkok?

Thanks

There's a place on Loy KHroh Rd (army supply/2nd hand) that had an advert out for "dog tags" but I think they meant the army human kind.

If they still do them , presumably could organise for dog??

Its on the south side of Loi Khroh next to BKK Bank ATM. I think on corner of Loi Khroh soi 1 or maybe its soi 2 (don't know the numbers). Opposite a tailor and near the Tibetan/Nepali shop

I get mine on Ebay. Lots to choose from. Cost about $5 with fast shipping.

I second eBay. I got some made here for my cats. They use a laser engraving process here. After about 6 months of normal use there was nothing left on the tags. Laser technique does not cut deep enough into the steel. Some available on eBay are made with laser too so browse through and find the ones using the traditional engraving technique. I paid about US $6.00 including post on eBay.

I had one made at "Pet Mart". It's a large pet supply shop on Canal Road. You'll find it on the left (heading south) between Chanon-Somphot and Night Safari Road. It was ready in about a week and cost about 250 baht. I'm sure other pet supply shops could do the same.

Sounds like you got robbed.
