Next time you travel into your local town where ever that may be. Look around you at all the shops and business units. Look to see if there are ever any customers in them. See up to 4 staff sitting around doing nothing. You have probably said to yourself before, "how the hell do they make any money?"

Sorry but no. Just no. We're not talking recreational pot here. In Thailand, the drug problem means crystal meth and heroin. Sure, criminalizing the users doesn't help much but no way they should just put this on the open market.

That is probably the best and most succinct comment I've read on this subject. Well said mortenaa. If more people thought as you do, the 'drugs problem' would wither on the vine. It wouldn't happen overnight, since the 'war on drugs' has created a massive problem, however in a couple of decades it would come down to manageable proportions. You will never eradicate drugs - human nature will see to that; but the damage caused can be easily reduced to minimal levels if the right approach is adopted.

Thats precisely why we need the man back, his attitude to drugs are utterly ruthless. a lot of innocents went missing you say? the big question is would you sacrifice 1000 to save one million.

And if you or some of your family happen to be included in the 1000 sacrificed to meet somebody's quota........... your answer would be ?

I knew two drug pushers and also the parents didn't agree to the killings but the other family members thought it was the right thing to do plus almost all from the village. They actually gave a warning here in Isaan to those drug pushers. The wife and hubby that got killed had several houses and pickups, an SUV, two Kubota and plenty of land all over Isaan. Job well done !
