My retirement extension is due and i have started getting my ducks in a row. I updated my bank pass book, the first time since last year, and it combined all of the transactions up until a month ago as one debit, with the code CMB [combined non book transaction] I don't have a problem with that, but knowing how anal immigration can be , i wonder has anybody had a problem with this. Logic would dictate, no problem, but we know that much of what goes on at immigration is not always logical.I can get backdated statements from my bank for 200 baht but it takes a few days and i don't want to do it if it is not necessary. Thankyou

It would be a problem if it does not show balance for past 3 months.

Sorry i should have mentioned i am doing a combined source of money , pension + balance. So the 3 month thing shouldn't apply.

But it does apply in Khon Kaen and perhaps in other offices. It's not as the regulations read, I know, but as I said they do apply the three month rule on a combination type renewal.

I would pay the 200 baht and get the statement. They may not ask for it, but you just know that if you don't have it, they will and you will have a problem.

Along with bank letter copies of bank book are still needed. If not doing combination method that is the proof of money in the bank for 90 days (or 60 for first ext.).
