oldsailor35 Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 On holiday in the UK i read in yesterdays (Wed Aug 21st) Daily Mail under the headlines ......'Conman who made 45 milliom pounds from the sale of fake bomb detectors gets seven years jail' The report goes on to say that he sold them to India,Pakistan,Egypt,China,Mexico,Holland and Thailand. The only country still using them is THAILAND ! These useless contraptions cost 1.82 pounds to make but were sold for 10 Thousand pounds each. I wonder how much the Thai government paid for theirs. It says that they are just a plastic box with an antenna, and are completely useless ! Someone now needs to find out how much Thailand paid and how much was "scimmed off" from the deal.
