How do you judge quality on a forum such as this? I mean, are you a quality poster? Or are you an average poster? Or are you just an insignificant nobody?

I have a low post count. What do you think? Does this equate to quality?

Mr Jingthing, on the other hand, has a post count of about 92 million. Does this represent quality?

I don't have many "likes". But a gentleman named Mr Blether has about 92 million "likes".

The SOCRATIC RATIO

I now know how to determine quality. It's all to do with the Socratic Ratio.

My post count is 374. And my number of profile views is 2219.

To calculate the Socratic Ratio, I simply divide the number 2219 (ie, my profile views) by 374 (ie, my post count). My Socratic Ratio is 6.

Try this with your own figures. Divide your number of profile views by your post count.

In almost all cases, you'll find that your Socratic Ratio is bewtween 1 and 2.

Next, we'll see how the Socratic Ratio can be interpreted. We'll learn what YOUR ratio says about YOU.

A Socratic Ratio of between 1 and 2

You're a good guy. But only average. Sure, you're clean cut and well dressed, and your wife is a bit of a looker.

We all differ in thought regarding different subjects. I consider myself as a bit of a numnut, I am honest, but have amassed rather a lot of likes which makes me think that nobody has to be an intellectual to get agreement or likes from the intellectual. Shakespeare is supposed to be quality writing but for sure very few would want to read it on Tv.

I now know how to determine transport system quality. It's all to do with the Groucho Marx Ratio.

Stand on 2nd road for 8 hours and 17 minutes.

Count the TOTAL number of riders.

Count the number of RIDERS smoking CIGARS.

Count the TOTAL number of baht buses that passed.

Multiply total riders times cigar smokers and divide by total buses then multiply by Pi.

That is your Groucho Marx Ratio.
