Former administrator of a celeb's Facebook page suspected of an animal care donation scam.

BANGKOK – August 24, 2013 [PDN]; At the headquarters of the Police Crime Suppression Division (CSD) about 20 men and women filed reports and complains about an online scam that pleads people to donate money in order to save street animals.

A victim has said that she personally knew Ms. Chutima who was a former administrator of the Facebook fanpage of another animal care page created by a well-known Thai celebrity.

She said that Ms. Chutima had created a separate Facebook page in order to ask people to donate money or funds to the treatment of sick or injured street animals.

If she had just banked the money she would have got away with it. Maybe she should have watched Goodfellas........

Thailand, the hub of well meaning hubs that do nothing, as the real HUBS in Thailand are SCAMS, CORRUPTION, and VIOLENCE. And their teachers are politicians and police.

A spokesperson of the CSD has confirmed that if Ms. Chutima is proven guilty, she will be charged for defrauding.

Interesting, so if she is shown to be guilty of fraud she will be charged with fraud

I think that it is appalling that reporters and cameramen wander around whenever and wherever they like, whether at the scene of crime or at a police station during a police investigation. There can be no justification for such a practice.

BTW, wouldn't it be a good idea to make clear who is who in any released pictures? Wouldn't want grounds for the famous Thai misunderstanding would we?
