Urgent Airport Visa's.... Help

Recommended Posts

I have to leave Thailand tomorrow evening.

My UK passport was damaged, now I have an emergency travel document/passport.

My visa's in my old passort are not damaged and I still have my departure card.

Will I have to transfer Visa's into my Emergency travel document?

If so I will have to travel to and from Khon Khen today and tomorrow, to catch my evening flight from Bkk to Vietnam to London Gatwick.

My visa is an extension of stay.

All help appreciated

Extensions of stay do normally require transfer from issuing office (but this is normally also into a normal passport so you could call 24 hour 1111 and ask for immigration to confirm). Be sure to point out it is emergency travel document rather than routine passport replacement. The emergency word might be key.

Is your photo page readable?

If your extension of stay stamp stamp can be read you should not have a problem if they can read your name in old passport.

What type of extension do have? If a one year do you have a re-entry permit?

You could of taken care of getting stamps sorted out at KK immigration.

The pages with my information and visa extension are perfectly readable. There was only a tiny bit of water on my photo, but you can still see my face quite clear.

I don't want a re-entry permit as I won't be coming back for a while.

Thanks for your help so far.

In my reading his passport has been canceled so can not be used. He must leave on new documents by presenting both or get information transferred.

Sent from my i-mobile i-note WIFI3 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
