Multiple Entry for Indian Nationals

Featured Replies

I am planing to Visit Thailand on 14th Dec and then go to Vietnam by road or rail.

My Question is ;

Will i need to get a Visa from India (multiple Entry)

Can I get a multiple entry visa (on arrival)

Can i apply for a Tourist visa from outside India (say Hong kong)

If it is not , then can I fly directly from Bangkok Airport to Vietnam (Ho chi min on the same day)

Without getting a Visa for Thailand and on the way back get a 15 day Visa on arrival

(I would be coming back to Thailand by Road or Rail /HoChimin - Siem Reap)

The Duration of my Stay is 15 Days Inclusive of Thailand and Vietnam.

Please help ASAP I am leaving soon to Hong kong and I Don't have time to apply

for Thailand Visa from India.

Regards

You can get a visa on arrival which costs 1000 baht but you would need to show a ticket out of the country.

There is no visa on arrival available at the border crossings with Cambodia. You would have to travel by air to enter Thailand from Cambodia.

There is no multiple entry tourist visa only by number of entries. You would need a 2 entry visa to do your trip as planned.

Not sure about Hong Kong but normally you have to get visas in India. You could contact them to confirm.

Urgent!

Ok let me put it this way.

An Indian National (with Indian Passport) with no Thai Visa wants to Come to Thailand and later wants to visit Vietnam.

What are the options available if any,Also remember i am coming from Hong Kong..

Can i Travel by Train one way/Both ways or do I have to Go by Flight oneway/Both ways?

Thanks

You can enter Thailand getting a visa on arrival if your flight out is within the 15 days visa gives you.

Then travel overland to Cambodia and Vietnam (visa ?) and return to Cambodia. To enter Thailand you will have to fly from Cambodia because you cannot get a visa on arrival at any border crossing from Cambodia to Thailand.

It would seem you need to research flights flights from Thailand to Vietnam which dovetail with the visa restrictions you are faced with.

Have you determined how you will obtain a Vietnamese visa ?

why to fly to Thailand first?

if coming to HK, stop in Vietnam first, i am pretty sure there are flights...then either fly from Vietnam to Bkk, and get your visa on arrival, or get a tourist visa at the thai embassy in Vietnam while there.

alternatively if travel by rail/land, stop at thai embassy in Cambodia and pick up a thai visa.

A Indian national cannot get visas just anywhere. They must get them in India or a country were they have residency.
