Heap Good Tea In Chiang Mai. Where to Buyem And Not Buy RotGut?

Featured Replies

Buying tea has become a sore subject with me.

It shouldn't be this way.

Why is it this way?

I am just looking for some half-decent tea.

Chinese Green Tea, to be exact.

I like the tea without too much processing and baking, or whatever they do to it.

I used to love good wulong and green tea (qingcha) when I was in Taiwan.

But now I am having a heck of a time buying something that is about he same quality here in Chiang Mai.

Can anyone help me with this quest?

Yes, I do know about Monsoon.

Since this here is not a critique of tea sellers, let us just say that I am still looking for what I want at a fair price.

What I want to pay?

I would say about 200Baht per 100grams.

When I bought some from RimPing, I don't know what brand,

Inside were leaves, sticks, and some kind of dust that looked like sawdust.

This was selling from about 300Baht for 200 grams.

SO CAN ANYONE help!!! with a decent reliable seller of Chinese tea in Chiang Mai?

I would be truly and everlastingly grateful for a good lead.

I will also, of course, be repeat buying.

Thank you all.

Best regards,

OCH
