Suspected Drug Dealer arrested by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--Pattaya Police conducted an undercover drug suppression operation at a Central Pattaya Hotel on Sunday which resulted in the arrest of a 31 year old suspected drug dealer and the seizure of class 1 drugs.

Khun Wiwat, the target of the operation, was persuaded by an undercover police officer posing as a drugs buyer, to deliver a quantity of class 1 drugs to the Sun Smile Resort off the Sukhumvit Road in Central Pattaya. He arrived as planned and was detained outside room number 108 after a short chase around the Resort.

Khun Wiwat was carrying 200 Yabba Tablets and 4 bags of Crystal Methamphetamine weighing 4.22g and later confessed at the Police Station that he had purchased the drugs for 30,000 Baht from an agent

Another bust.

Either the police are doing a better job in catching some of these smaller dealers or there are more of them now. Hard to know which.
