B Visa

Featured Replies

Hi, whats the requirements for B visa? or multi B ?

My gf got currency exchanges business

I know I be not able to apply for work permit through her I think, she got like 4 thai staff but pay tax for 1 only, as they choose to get bit more salary etc... I think that what it is..

anyway, would I be able to apply for B visa instead tourist visa, if she give me letter or something, or company info ?

if so, what would be the difference, between touris and B for my long term stay here ?

Thank You

Kris

No, you would need to apply for a wp first at the labour office with full company papers, contract etc. before they will issue a non-B visa in a neighbouring country. You might get one in Europe or Australia, but don't expect it to be a multiple entry only a single.

You only qualify for a tourist visa.

Mario is correct.

You/your employer first applies for the WP, filing all the necessary papers with Labour, when they are in order you get a special receipt that can be used along with all the other required paperwork to apply at a Thai Consulate outside of Thailand for a 90 day Single Entry Non Immigrant Category 'B' visa. See link to Thai MFA required paperwork below:

http://www.mfa.go.th/main/en/services/123/15388-Non-Immigrant-Visa-%22B%22-(for-Business-and.html

When you re-enter Thailand on the Non 'B', you can use the 90 day Permission to then collect your WP from Labour.

Info is wrong or incomplete you got.

You can apply for work permit with a tourist visa.

Then with application for work permit and stack of documents from company you go out for a B visa.

Then you can pickup the work permit by showing visa.
