leave thailand with o visa

Featured Replies

hello i got a multiple entry o visa (marriage) and planning to go to The Netherlands for a few months

is there a period that after i am not in Thailand The visa will expire

if so how long can i stay out ? and can i use Thai marriage certificate with the embassy in The Netherlands to get a new o visa ? ( i do still have the English translation legalised)

A visa has a date on it for when it expires (use by or enter before).

But if you really have an extension of stay the only limit is to be back before it expires to get a new one. Be sure you get a re-entry permit or is that you meant by multiple entry when you called it a visa.

You could get a visa with no problem. A multiple entry might be harder to get than a single.

its a visa

similar to this one i found on the net only mine is multiple entry

so the date of the visa is the expire date not the stamps you get at the border

With a visa, the expiration dte of the visa is important and if it is single or multiple.

With a multiple entry you get a permission to stay for 90 days each time you enter Thailand before the visa itself expires. Don't forget about the expiry date, you cannot use the visa anymore to travel to Thailand after that date.
