BANGKOK: -- The popular pretty Arpapron Natewong, aka Malangmiang, is in hot water after one of her customers accused her of illegally mixing mercury into her Sexy Witch cosmetics products.

The customer who exposed her using the Instagram account @helpmeplsssss claimed that her skin was badly affected by the illegal ingredient. She published before and after photos of her skin as well as photos of a positive mercury test result.

In response to the allegations, the 24-year-old model and surgery guru insisted that she did everything by the book and her products had passed inspection from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Many critics, however, have pointed out that her statement does not come across as credible since the material she sent to the FDA for inspection could have been different from that sold in the market. [read more...]

Of course if the 'Authorities' were interested in looking after the interests of the public they would have sent a team of investigators to pick up envelopes look into this matter and seize samples of every product for testing. All business would be suspended until the results were known and whatever action required would be taken to uphold Thailand stringent business ethics !

Thai's will do ANYTHING to make more money including poisoning of customers. Regard for other Human lives is way down the list of priorities; it's gazing at bank books that's the main concern.

I am sure it has something to do

with whitening ones skin as people

here in Thailand will do anything

to whiten their skin, even use

mercury!! If radiation was good

to whiten their skin they would use

that to, unbelievable!

Perhaps Thai Airways could do promotional flights to Fukushima....Bingo; the girls happy with 'whitening radiation treatment' and Thai Airways might even make some money for a change.

"surgery guru" = She has plastic surgeries done on her face, tits and many more on her. Thai women and men would follow any Thai actresses and models who have been under knife when the outcome results look beautiful.

I read on a Thai web board and also there is a former Thai sales person who worked for a whitening cream company posted a thread to tell all about dangerous substances that many whitening cream companies sell in markets which are mercury, formaldehyde and bathroom cleaning fluid. Those substances are used at a small amount but after prolong use, it would cause a bad side effect.

The products those company sent to the FDA to be tested are not the same mixtures that made to be sold in the markets.

...and exactly why would they add a known deadly toxic substance to their products? Does mercury have some supposedly beneficial effects that the cosmetic industry alchemists think they know about?

Everything's deadly toxic in sufficient quantity. See how long you live breathing pure oxygen. It follows, that everything is non-deadly in sufficiently small quantities. Centuries ago people took poisons to build up an immunity to being poisoned. Pretty much also how all vaccinations work. So it's not quite as simple as "deadly toxins" being peddled.

That said, cosmetics containing mercury were popular as skin lightening products, just about as stupid a reason (not that there are any sensible reasons, afaik) to bathe in mercury as it's possible to get...

What the...!?!?

Vaccinations work by injecting DEAD bacteria into your body. The immune system doesn't detect them as dead so builds up antibodies against them so you are ready.
