Business Visa out of LA?

Featured Replies

Howdy,

Anyone have recent experience on getting a 1 year multi entry business out of LA? Any ideas on how the new changes for the Honorary consuls (walk in only, no mailings) will affect LA's decisions or their turn around time?

Thanks for the advice.

Cheers!

I f you have gotten one in LA before then you should be able to get one now.

I doubt the recent change of no mail ins to honorary consulate s will will have any affect upon there decision making process.

I am sure that the number of mail in applications will increase which will cause their already slow turnaround time to get even slower.

ubonjoe, thanks for the reply.

This would be my first time. Houston was recommended, but there it goes.

There are several honorary consulates perhaps one is close to you.

Perhaps they would accept a one way mail in and showed yourself to pick it up. That could save an overnight stay.

I have done it in Houston for two O visas before because I was already stopping there for a few days on my way here. For me it was to save a trip downtown.

Hmmm. Interesting idea to see if we could show up to pick up. We do have to fly through Honolulu, so it might work there. Will call in the morning.

Thanks!
