hi ,

how did you make it disappear? :D

Click on the Star that displays" favorites" next to it (on the Toolbar)and it will be back- or go to View-explorer bar - and tick "favorites"

hope that helps,

Thanks rcm, do as your advice and still couldn’t bring back the IE sidebar. Just wondering could it be some scumware eating into the IE system file? On the other hand, should I reinstall the IE. Thank again. :D

You may already have tried this but ...

At the top of your IE screen there should be a drop-down menu 'View'.

Select this and you will see an item there 'Explorer Bar'.

Select this and may sure that the 'Favorites' item is ticked.

Alternatively, you can use the shortcut CTRL + I. This enables / disables the Favorites bar.

Hope that this helps
