Quite clearly gives you until 13th October, so you do not need an extension if you leave before that date.

thank you so much Wolf5370 .. have a nice day ..smile.png

You have permission to stay until 13th October.

Don't understand why you're asking the question, when your stamp says you're OK until the 13th. Tell us what you're concerned about and maybe we can help more.

Some people are simply confused about the visa expiring at an earlier date than the permission to stay.

OP has a permission to stay till Oct. 13th so can stay until that day.

You are allowed to stay in LOS until 13 October 2013...time of expiration...midnight.

At 0001 hours (one minute past midnight) of the same night or 0001 14 October,

you can be considered illegal.

OK, yeah, the usual tourist visa or permission to stay is 30 days, but your paperwork gives you until the 13th, so you're good until then. Don't know why they apparently gave you a few extra days, but they did, so you've got them. Enjoy!

Poster was provided the normal 60 day tourist visa entry (not 30 days) - arriving on 15 August and permitted to stay until 13 October.

He has tourist visa (TR on stamp) which gives a 60 day entry (for those from most countries).

You are thinking he got a 30 day visa exempt entry which is not a tourist visa.

For a foreigner who does not understand English well the use of "admitted" with the meaning "allowed to enter" can be puzzling. In plain English the arrival stamp posted by the OP would be "arrived 15 AUG 2013 and permitted to stay until 13 OCT 2013". Still, the "ADMITTED...UNTIL..." used in Thailand is better than if it were in Thai language smile.png

The code "TR" in the stamp tells us that the OP arrived with a tourist visa.
