Hi All,

I currently have a valid one year B visa (enter before May 2014) and a work permit (expires Feb 2014).

I understand that I need at least six months on my work permit to get a new one year B visa next May.

But I'm not sure about the visa requirements for getting my work permit renewed. I know that a three month B visa is ok when you get your first work permit, but does anyone know if the the labour department will accept three months remaining on a one year B visa when renewing an existing work permit?

Thanks in advance,

Labour should accept it, the problem is more with obtaing a new multiple non-B visa. For which you often must have a minimum time left on the WP.

Yu have a multiple non-B, you are aware that you must leave the country every 90 days on that one, unless you get a 1 year extension of stay from immigation?
