Multiple re-entry permit question

Featured Replies

Hello,

My current non-immigrant B visa expires in Oct 2013, but I've just extended it to Oct 2014 (new stamp). Will I have to get a new multiple re-entry permit since I have a new visa if I want to travel next week? Or will the old one still work since it technically only expires in Oct?

Please help! Thanks.

You need to get a new one that matches your current permit to stay.

Technically your old one is not valid.

In worst case you can get a re-entry at the airport, just before the passport check, after scanning. If you have time, go to your immigration and get a new multiple-entry, takes ~1h in Chaeng Wattana. You should have done that together with your extension. Next time you know :)
