Some posters complain if the police do nothing and complain when they do something. Their happiness is to post complaints and lament the sad affairs they perceive.

Tickets should be priced as fixed percentage of the retail-price of the car, let say 0.1%...

Toyota Vigo: ticket about 600 THB (new price ca 600,000 THB)

Lamborghini: ticket about 20000 THB (new price ca 20,000,000 THB)

That will make them think twice (maybe...)

And what, pray, is the "schadenfreude effect" when one comes visiting, just for my peace of mind

Maybe in Thailand Police should more investigate with which money owners bought those sport cars... Sure many money landering involve...
