ABCer
Currently on NON IMM 'O' Visa as Retiree. Visa valid till 7 April 2014. Next 90 days notification due on 4 December 2013. Going out of Thailand for one month. Returning 5 December 2013. I know about 7 days 'Grace' re Notice. Questions: 1) Do I have to obtain a RE-ENTRY Visa ? If not, will this cancel my NON IMM 'O' currently valid till 7 April 2014? 2) Any other hassles I can be looking at? Consideration of 1 month free stay Visa on arrival? Can I use it in any way to my advantage? Thanks for your time.
ubonjoe
You do not need to report if you are not here for more than 90 days. Your next report will be due 90 days after you re-enter the country. You must get a re-entry permit or your extension (not a visa) will be invalid as soon as you enter without it. Sceptict11
You do not have a visa ! You have an extension of stay ! If you wish to leave the country and keep the extension of stay alive a re-entry permit is required. If you do not stay in Thailand for a whole 90 day period no addess report is required 90 day reporting resets on your return.
