Visa O type for under 50s possible ?

Featured Replies

I see that there is a O-A visa for those aged 50 and above with >800K annual income/savings.

Further; there is a O visa for those that cannot meet the requirements of an O-A.

..So if I can't meet the age requirement for O-A, Should I apply for a O visa instead ?

I'm in my thirties and do not work in Thailand.

The only "long term" visa available would be an ED visa.

Even if I'm married to a Thai National and have the required funds ? (That's funds for visa btwsmile.png )

Its helpful if all the facts are stated in the opening post.

Being married to a Thai would enable you to apply for an "O" visa based on marriage.

Google the Thai embassy/Consulate in your home country for the specific requirements associated with the visa.

You do not qualify for O-A visa. You do with a legal marriage to a Thai qualify for O visa. Do you meet extension of stay requirements of 40k income or 400k in bank account in your name? If yes you can obtain visa and extension from Immigration. If you do not the best place for a visa in the area would be Savannakhet showing marriage certificate/copy and copy of wife id card and home register. You should be able to obtain a multi entry non immigrant O visa allowing up to 90 day stay for one year. With marriage proof and wife you can also obtain extensions of stay from immigration for 60 days on any entry without financials.
