i'm sorry,i see a lot of post about reoport 90 days for all kind of visa,but still i'm confused

i'm in the southern thailand and get thai wife visa 1 year,i have also WP,the first time i apply he give me 1 months but not tell me nothing about report,2 more time 1 months and finally extension 1 year,i ask about the report 90 days and immigration office say to me that i not need to do with my visa,but everytime i read here that is necessary that all 90 days go to immigration for report 90 days........... i go 1 more time and the officer say to me again that i not need to do this here with my kind of visa

so,i'm confused,i ask to my lawyer that take care about my visa and WP and also he say the same,i look in the site of immigration and say that all 90 days i must to report...............so now understand why i'm confused ed incredule

ps=this is the second year that i do extension 1 year,i remember last year i do in bangkok because i live in bangkok before and the officer say to me that only the first year need to came to report all 90 days,after is not request,also my wife remember this

the first year in bangkok i do every 90 days this,but here it seem to not be required

It does not matter if you are in Phuket or Bangkok. As long as you are in Thailand and stay more than 90 days without leaving the kingdom, you MUST report every 90 days.

Thats just one lazy immigration officer.

If you left it 180 days before reporting you can bet your ass that you would no doubt be confronted by another immigration officer who would fine you for not reporting 90 days ago!

TIT I'm afraid old chap -carry on reporting whatever they tell you!, and make sure they write your next reporting date in your passport
