Hi Guys, after a little advise thanks, proposing to bring my family and relatives to Krabi around the middle of Oct and looking for a good value beachfront hotel in good location for other restuarants and some shops.I have lived in Thailand for past 11 years but never had the chance to visit Krabi. There would be 4 adults and 3 young ladies 9 - 11 years old, thanks for your valued advice !!!!

On Koh Lanta there are numerous hotels and resorts right on the beach. However in most cases restaurants and shops are a little bit in distance. In Ao Nang there is the Krabi Resort on the beach, the Golden Beach, Ao Nang Villa and Phra Nang Inn separated from the beach by a small dead end access road and the Ao Nang Princeville and L Resort separated from the beach by the main road. All these resorts are within walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. All 5 star resorts are rather secluded with not much around it.
