Chinese tourists take Airplane life jacket

Featured Replies

I guess nose-picking, spitting in restaurants, peeing in swimming pools and defecating in public aren't that bad ....just wait until you need the life jacket on an airplane and there is none....... well.....all I can say ...Thank the Lord the Thai's are more civilized!

BP link removed, lets try something else

Well at least lifejackets are a lot cheaper than parachutes .

You must have missed the story about the Chinese tour group that wanted to take the silverware from a Singapore Airlines flight home and there was some big kerfuffle over it. They said their relatives had done it and told them it was ok!

We are not allowed to link to Bangkok Post, I have substituted your link to one we can use, cheers

The Chinese tour groups are unbearable BUT: when my parents worked in hotels in Kenya 30 years ago, life jackets were stolen from planes all the time. The clientele: exclusively Western European....

IMO, its growing pains, every nation's tourists go through growing pains when they first start traveling.

Sorry about the link to Bangkok post....won't happen again

What's amazing to me is there are over 1.3 billion people in China, one of the older civilizations and this kind of behavior is obviously acceptable in China, I have been to China, but it was over 15 years ago and was guided around (and back then it seemed like ....watched by the Government) so didn't see too much of it other than the occasional spitting and picking of noses.....oh well

I'm fairly sure it was AirAsia -X ... but they do warn ALL quest on landing not to souvenir the Life Jackets!

Some people ... facepalm.gif
