davejonesbkk
I'm flying to the Uk tomorrow and someone there is buying me a prepaid SIM card. I bought my iphone in an Apple store here in Bangkok, is it locked to Thai sims or can the uk one work in it?

theoldgit
I've just returned from the UK and purchased a SIM for my Thai factory unlocked IPhone whilst I was there and it worked fine. I paid £15 in Carphone Warehouse for sim on the 3 network which gave me all you can eat data for a month and more minutes and SMS messages than I could have used during my one month visit. sirchai
It works. Even when you come back, you can call using your Thai Sim card.-
