Stamp Peneng Advised To Apply For Work Permit

Featured Replies

Can some one help me!!

My passport was stamped that I have been advised to apply for a work permit the last time I received a dbl. entry non immigrant visa in Penang.

Can I go back to Penang and get another visa or should I try an embassy outside Asia.

anyone have the same experience ? How was it resolved.

thanks

Pat

Are you sure you received a two entry non immigrant visa in Penang? AFAIK they only issue single entry or multi entry type.

I suspect you may find it hard to obtain another non immigrant B visa (if that is what you had) but it will be up to the Consulate.

I stand corrected it was a multiple entry non immigrant B visa.

Since that time I have made a few trips out of the country but always recieved a visa on arrival.

thanks

In most all cases( 99.999%), they no longer issue one year multi entry"B" visas in Penang unless you have a work permit.
