I would be grateful for recommendation for quality hotels in Bangna area or close by.

My wife and I will reside overnight in early December prior to return flight to UK.

Budget between £50 and £150 for the night.

Any ideas other than what I see on Agoda and other commercial sites would be most appreciated.

Novotel Bangna is pretty good, stayed there recently. About 2600-3000 baht. Great breakfast and comfortable rooms, plus a bar with live music.

Just around the corner from the Novotel is the Maple hotel, opened about a year, easy access to the airport also, not much to choose between the two of them really.

Probably better in travel forum, also try tripadvisor for 1000's of reviews

The Maple Hotel has a very good lunchtime buffet for around 300 Baht(including Sushi and a grill),and an even better one in the evening for about 500.
