one way travel insurance

Featured Replies

i am going back to the uk indefinately in novenmber ,that is from australia .

i will be staying in thailand for about 11 days on the way and have found it impossible to get travel insurance .they will not insure you unless you are returning to australia .

has anyone come across this or does anyone know a company who will insure me .

i find it crazy as i only want insurance for the stay in thailand but can't get it .even flight centre won't help .

apparently it is a repatriation thing.

World Nomads is the best. can get it from anywhere in the world and can extend it while you're away. You don't have to be in your home country to take it out, and you can upgrade the policy on the fly.

It's as expensive as any policy but has the best conditions by far in my opinion.

i did find a company in ozz that has insured me but it was not easy .the company was Aon insurance brokers and there price was not much different to anyone elses.not only that but the rep i talked to was very helpful and seemed to have plenty of time to talk to me ,the insurance also included a pre existing medical condition as an add on.
